Comments about 2.5" to 3.5" IDE Hard Drive Cable Adapter Kit:

I wanted to recover accidentally deleted information from a Laptop Harddrive. This did the trick... using my desktop... but there were not very good directions on attaching the HD... and the screws may not have been the right size... I'm not sure. I wasn't able to figure out how to securely attach the HD to the Desktop. So, wouldn't recommend for a permanent installation. Good, though for a temp job.
