After at least 4 years of this same model, the left clipper is sticky or won't work for a few clicks. I need to get a new one, and hope it lasts and works as great as this has. I love using on the flat-dash of my laptop. It works on cardboard and thick rough placemats and most mousepads, but not slick surfaces. I've seen all the complaints, but I have none.

I bought this mouse mainly because it was retractible. It lasted about a month and then fell apart into many pieces. While I was using it I was quite unhappy with how it reacted to touch and the size/shape. I have large hands and had a very difficult time using the mouse for more than 10 minutes or so. Overall, a complete waste of money. Went to a discount store an bought one for half the price and have been using it ever since.

This is my 2nd Targus Mini Mouse. The one I bought directly from Dell lasted 4 years. The only I bought from Radio Shack lasted 11 months. This is trash!

Operation is excellent, but it just won't last long...poor quality. It DOES, however work with Vista.

Not only does the retracting system not work, but I found it to be incompatible with my MacBook. Just to see, I plugged it into a friend's PC, and it seemed to be just fine.
