I bought this product for my father's 80th birthday. What the package doesn't tell you is that it doesn't work with a corded phone which has the dialing mechanism in the handset. So now I have to take it back.

could not get to work. after reading instructions found out that it would not work on telephones with touch pads in the handset. customer service was helpful with return procedures but wish this limitation had been listed in the description.

This product has enabled me to hear people that I was having trouble understanding before, especially people that had low voices or did not speak up when talking. I would buy this product again. Helps wonderfully!

My 92-year-old mother won't wear her hearing aids, so this was the perfect solution for her to be able to talk on the phone.

We use this for our very active 83-year-old grandmother. Now she can hear clearly on the phone again, and she can easily adjust the volume up or down as needed. I'm ordering a second one today for the extension in her art studio.

I like the volume feature yet. The boost button acts a little funky. If held down for too long (10 seconds or longer) it makes a wailing/siren noise when released and the caller on the other end can hear it too.

I cannot understand that radio shack would advertise and sell a product that is not standard to the fit required of phones. This puts the consumer to the inconvenience of returning the product.

We purchased this product to help my husband who has a hearing loss. First, the directions to install the device were very unclear. Once installed properly, the device did not work, even after trying it on multiple phone. So, it was either defective or simply did not work as described. The customer service rep I spoke with told us we 'mis-read' the purpose of the device, that it was not intended to help increase the volume for better clarity, but to keep signals straight, that were coming off multiple lines or something to that effect. Well, then, the product description needs to be changed! It was a waste of our time and effort.
