I bought one of these and returned it two hours later. I could not get any signal with it bearly at all. Even the store clerks could not get it to work with a truck stop right on the other side of the street. We could not connect with anyone.

Product needs to be sold with an recharging adapter - one should not have to purchase one as an after market item.

Reception on any of the forty CB channels appears to be almost non-existent except for someone who is pumping out alot of wattage. i.e. linear amplifier.

This radio is just bad I got it for my 15 year old son and it did not work he could not pick anything up and even when we tested it with are other cb, it was just nothing this is a poor radio.

Drove pace car for 4,642 mile road trip. Except for me, all parties were on motorcycles. I was able to communicate with my group up to nearly a mile on line-of-sight. Used the car power adaptor for the entire trip. The magnetic attenna must have been perfectly tuned. I bought this CB specifically to use for this road trip and it exceeded my expectations in performance.

This product is good if you are going to be on foot alot and outside your car. If you are following someone for a reason this product would be good, but if it is for the road and comutions with several people it is not good.

When i go out fishing with a group , it's great,using the telescoping antenna adds distance,or As a second radio when more than one car is used for trips..It's not so great when used on a belt,using a external mic device and the mic plug is sticking out from the side of the radio,instead the mic jack should be on top of unit,this may eleminate damage to the mic plug..
