Comments about Midland® 18-258 27MHz Window Mount CB Radio Antenna: Make sure glass is completely clean inside and out before installing.Install in 60 to 70 degree weather or heated garage.Vehicle and outside temperature should match.Put one on new car in 2004,have run car thru 100's of car washes(always remove antenna from outside base before washing car),has been thru every kind of weather imaginable and is still attached to glass and works great.Buying new car and getting another one.Purchaser of old car wants it left on so they can use it for their CB radio. It comes with the ability to tune it but no way to measure your progress or success. Bought one and in a week it fell off. I hadn't really had the chance to use it to see it's limitations so I bought another. Both times I followed the manufacturers directions with extra attention on the second installation. Alas, 6 days later on the way to work I hear a clunk as it falls off to the interstate and under the tires of the following vehicle. Don't waste your money. Pros Cons
