I carry one radio with me at night and the other radio is back in the office with my secretary. After my shift (4 hours) I check the amount of charge on the battery and its always LOW or DEAD.

The ones I have are teh BP39 but are listed at 500mAH Ni-Cd instead of the 700 m-Ah Ni-MH... They worked fine for the first year or so, but gradually died to the point now where the walkie will stay on only for a few hours and has no power to transmit...
