For use in a band for instruments and back up vocal this is a great mic. I don't see why the lead vocal could not use this either.
This is a very durable mic and a good value.

I'm a DJ/ Musician and I bought this mic for Christmas last year. It is absolutely incredible. THe sound quality on it is clear and top notch and it's great for a musician on a budget. The only small issue I had with it was that is was weak when plugged into a computer directly, but that can be fixed by plugging it into a mixer before hand, then plugging it into a computer; it imporves the quality too! I would definitely recommend this to any musician.

I use this mic for mobile Dj services and it works great for parties and making announcements. I turn my treble up to around 3:00 on mixer and turn my bass down to about 9pm for a cleaner sound. I would say i have done at least 65 events with it and still like it. I would classify this mic as mid-grade.

Videographers, never leave it home! If all your other expensive mics fail or internal batteries die, etc.. you get the point; pull this baby out and edit the sound in post production. Vocalist, it's good enough to use as a secondary or primary in tight situations. If you're just starting out with mics...let this be one of your first pieces of equipment. Good price for the quality.

This mic is really amazing! It works perfectly. I use it for singing with my band and there is no horrible feedback or static. It's perfect. :)

For the cost, you can't go wrong. I use it to do voice-overs for online training used by tech professionals. I did have to purchase a mic clip with a female connector to fit my mic stand. 1/4" male connector on the cord may require an 1/8" converter jack for some PC and most laptop applications.

We use this mic in our studio. We have had mic that cost many hundred dollar and none of them are as good as these. We are now outfitting our remote host with these mics alse. [@]. You cannot get anything any better than this mic. Ed Hale

I LOVE this mic!! Awesome sound quality. Very little background noise bleeds through and NO reverb!!!! Well worth the price. If you are using it with your PC you WILL have to buy a Stereo Adapter which costs around $5 becasue the 1/4 inch plug doesn't fit into a standard soundcard.
