I used this on a custom aluminum computer case, and made several holes, both square and round, though if you do anything over 16ga aluminum you are in for a treat, like painful cramps in your hands and material not fitting in between the jaw. Have worn out two of these in the past ten years by using them on heavier gauge metal than these are designed for, but with great results.

The nibbler is silver, not gold. The nibbler is the cheapest computer moding tool available. It is also one of the hardest to use. I wear gloves when I use the nibbler and it still kills my hand when I am cutting metal! I had to duck tape foam to the nibbler to help the pain in my hand go away!
