This is a standard thermal compound by Arctic Silver. This is ceramic based, so it is not conductive, meaning that if you get it on your motherboard, or other components, it will not short them out like some other thermal compound pastes.

Nothing much to say about this, if you are in need to a thermal paste use this for daily use computers. This is not recommended for people that overclock their computers, get something better for that.

Reliable, cheap, decent, basic. Enough for 3-5 uses.

This stuff fixed my overheating cpu like a charm, now I have no problems and everything runs cooler even under heavy loads.

RROD is most often fixed by reflowing the motherboard. In other words microsoft's failure to designed a proper heat sink system causes micro cracks and cold solder joints because of too much flex in the board. You have to heat the board with a heat gun or turn it on and let it overheat, AFTER removing all of the heat sinks. Then you must replace the stock heat sink xclamps. Look up or buy a good repair guide. This compound will work fine.

This thermal grease works good if you clean the cpu and gpu off properly. I've ran this in my Xenon for a year now with zero issues other than my system is a bit warm. Never went into the RROD with it though.

These guys that have trouble with their 360 with this stuff don't know what they are doing.

This stuff is best used for the luxury mom & pop internet-only pc's. Don't use it for heavy gaming, get as5. Dynex Thermal compound is a mixture between this and as5, so use that for just an everyday computer. I run my own xbox 360 repair shop, and I use this stuff on the pennies I put on the bottom because it is cost effective and won't waste my precious Arctic Silver 5.

This compound is AWESOME.
I prepped with Alcohol pads.
Cleaned the CPU Surface and the heat sink to remove old degraded compound and the PC is Now 20 degrees cooler at the CPU.

I build PCs, and ran out of my regular stuff, saw this online and I am VERY VERY Pleased.

Just remember, YOU MUST PREP ANY SURFACE YOU INTEND TO USE THIS TYPE OF PRODUCT ON and apply it properly.

The compound does the job if you do your's.

I fix the 3rings for xbox and i used this few times and its not worth a dime. Just add few more $ and get the Arctic Silver 5.

Like one of the other reviews says heat sink will not work if you do not rub off the old compound with alcohol and cotton before you apply the new compound

My CPU E4300 was running at 60C idle and 90C-100C full load. It started to shut down after 10-20 min of heavy gaming. I cleaned my old thermal grease purchased this and voila runs 30C Idle and 56-58C full load for hours. Great Stuff & Economical.
