Comments about RadioShack® Enclosure Project Skeleton Kit (Two-Tray):

Sad a bad layout messed up a good product.

#1 Base Plate should have more holes to allow addition mounting options (Mega, Lenardo, Basic Stamp).

#2 Middle plate should have bigger hole to allow bigger shields. More holes to mount other Items opposite shield hole.

#3 Top Plate Bigger Shield Hole addition holes for Buttons and pots. Area left blank to support LCD under cover

Comments about RadioShack® Enclosure Project Skeleton Kit (Two-Tray):

Will not work with the shields that I have, I was going to use this for a web server but will have to mod how I mount the uno and the arduino ethernet shield. It is not worth the price paid for this kit, unless the company includes some intermediate spacer shield to make the dimensions work out of the box.

Comments about RadioShack® Enclosure Project Skeleton Kit (Two-Tray):

Typo in the manual where the rivets are referred to with the wrong part number. Quality if the components is very good, but I'm not happy with the compatibility. I am using an Arduino UNO R3 and have two genuine Arduino shields. Neither the motor shield nor Ethernet shield fit correctly right out of the box. There are not enough adjustments for height of the plastic panels. I like the modular design, but if no shields fit, what's the point? I will probably 'mod' the enclosure and make it work better. There should be a list if compatible shields as well as some assembly ideas for other ways to put it all together.
