Does not stay close to ear opening

By Chaz

from Mooresville, NC

Pros

  • Comfortable
  • Lightweight

Cons

  • Poor Sound
  • Too Much Ambient Noise

Best Uses

  • Working Out

Comments about Sony® h.ear™ Sports Headphones (Vertical Clip-On):

During my workouts, I like to hear music. I've brought several other's but don't seem to stay in place. When I saw this clip style I decided to it a try. I does stay in place, but the ear piece does not stay close to the ear opening thereby losing bass. I mostly hear the high's and very little bass.

Comments about Sony® h.ear™ Sports Headphones (Vertical Clip-On):

This is a great pair. I originally bought this only for my PSP since I have a pair of MotoRokr S305 that I use with my iPod touch. However, I was given my mother's iPod Nano (touchscreen) and since it doesn't use bluetooth, I can only use it with the headphones. This is a really great pair of headphones for it's price. It's definitely the longest pair of wired headphones I've ever had that has lasted me. I've had it for over a year now and it still works perfectly.

When you push the earbuds up a little, you really get the maximum sound. The bass is great for such a little pair especially when you push them up.

On the downside, it kind of falls out. I say "kind of" because it doesn't fall out all the way since it's clipped onto your ear but the speaker part of it isn't really in so it's annoying while running.

My pair has also survived a few yanks such as getting caught on a doorknob or on the edge of the upper rack when I'm doing the dishes, or when I or a friend accidentally manage to knock it out of my ear. Also, the color doesn't dull either.

Overall, next to my bluetooth headset, this is a great buy which has essentially allowed me to keep growing my music collection.

Comments about Sony® h.ear™ Sports Headphones (Vertical Clip-On):

This is a great product, and I've been using these headphones for the last few years. I wear them every day, and they usually last about a year, which I think is more than a respectable amount of time for headphones. One VERY important thing to consider: these come in blue. Sony makes another model in grey, and I inadvertently bought those at another store one morning when I didn't have time to get to radioshack. They are NOT the same headphones. They look the same, but the blue model has MUCH more bass, great sound, etc. The grey has far too much treble, weak bass, etc. Will definitely stick with this model as long as Sony keeps making it.

A disappointment from Sony. They stop working in 1 ear anywhere from 6 months to a year after purchasing. You get what you pay for in terms of quality with this pair.
