Of course I had tossed the box and the receipt and the store wouldn't take it back. Comments about Timex® Timex® Extra-Loud Alarm Clock: I bought a cheap alarm clock [@] at half the price and it's louder than this abomination. It is falsely advertised and most certainly does not reach 110 dB, which would be the volume of a jet taking off next to you. Do not purchase this unless you are a light sleeper.  Pros

Comments about Timex® Timex® Extra-Loud Alarm Clock: it's loud, reliable, and most importantly it works. i've been looking for a loud one with a battery backup just incase the power goes out late at night, and this is the perfect solution. popped in one 9v battery, plugged it in the outlet, and now i don't have to worry about waking up late in the morning =].

The picture shows it in black, but mine is a cream color, almost like the old computer cases. Nowhere did it give me a color option. I know its a minute detail, but it can easily throw a room off...
