This is the second one I purchased and it stopped working after about 6 months just like the 1st one I bought!! It's a piece of junk!!!!!!

I use this product for national clients doing customer service over the phone while using my internet. I have used this for years and when one goes out after 2-3 years then I go to Radio Shack and get another one. Others are paying 2-3 times as much for what I believe is about the same quality.

I am not sure what the battery life is, but it don't take batteries. I have used this on my cellphone because of the laws of driving and cell phone use, now that i have new cel phone and got BT for that, i no longer use it for cell phone but I do use it for work everyday for the last 4 years. Never broke or fade or given me problems.

The over-the-ear piece is too loose, so it won't sit against my ear and I have to readjust it. There is a constant fading in and out in the speaker. Individuals on the other end of the phone say they can hear me great and it is lightweight.

My over-the-head set wore out so stopped at RS to buy another because that's where I had purchased my phone. This was the only kind of headset in stock and price was right so I got it. It works OK as long as I don't move around a lot which is not feasible. Also, initially it was highly uncomfortable but have now figured out a way to make it work by looping it literally over the top of my ear but I shouldn't have had to work so hard at it. My next purchase will be an over-the-head model.

I'm sick of the fact that almost all "smart phones" are so short (not flip phones) and so the microphone is halfway up my cheek! In a noisy car or construction site, thats bad. So this hands free both allows me to keep working with both hands WHILE putting the mic by my MOUTH where a mic should be. But ... the plug is *expletive disallowed*!
I recommend as soon as you get it you bend the wire over where it comes out of the "strain relief" and tie it with wire to really give it real strain relief. Unfortunately that only delays the inevitable, the shaft of the plug itself comes apart leaving part of the tip in side the phone. Drag. Otherwise excellent noise cancellation effect!

Person on the other end can hear you clear. But receiver would not allow me to hear clearly. It also brused me behind the ear, which was extremely painful, for nearly a week. I would not recommend this product.

I've been using this for hands free conversations with a Panasonic cordless phone for about 5 years. I've replaced the phone with a newer Panasonic model twice, and only had to replace this earpiece once - finally wore out the cord at the plug. The sound both ways is perfect - like having a normal conversation with someone right there in the room with you. The people that had problems might not have realized that there is a two position click adjustment that may have helped, or there was something wrong with their phone. Easy to adjust for either ear, easy to use, and just takes a few uses to get used to.

I purchased this headset so i can easily work from home and I have to say that this is beyond uncomfortable. It doesnt stay in place and I cant hardly hear the other party is saying.

I purchased this device for an employee who was complaining about a neck ache from cradling the phone and It has been a life saver! It's easy to use and the sound is clear as a bell. It has made her job easier and more comfortable and it was very inexpensive!
