Needed an extension cord for my Koss Pro-4AA whose coiled cord was too short causing discomfort from just a few feet away plugged into my Onkyo TX-8555 stereo reciever which is connected to my computer for gaming,music and movies.

Picked this up over the weekend at the local RADIO SHACK and was surprised to hear my Koss Pro-4AA headphones sounding even more spectacular then it already did. I dont know if it was the extension cords gold tipped plug going into my Onkyo TX-8555 stereo reciever or its huge 20 foot length but now everything sounds so crystal clear and sharp its like the difference between the mind just waking up in the morning and being wide awake on a saturday night partying.

Only minor problem i had is sometimes having to move the headphones plug where it connects to the extension cord due to the sound not coming in completely. Once i turn it a bit the sound is coming in once more gloriously full and detailed.

Great cable, no coils to tug on equipment. Gold connectors so no worry about bad connections. I have all Bose equipment, mixer, amp, headphones, etc. and found no degradation between plugging in direct with an adapter plug or using the extension cable. Great for moving around from area to area.

This cord does exactly what it is supposed to - extend the reach of your headphones. I could not tell any difference between the sound quality when Sony MDR V-6 headphones were plugged straight into my receiver or were connected through the extension cable. 20 ft. was overkill for me but I could not find anything at about the 8-10 ft. length I wanted at a reasonable price.

I use these for in ear monitoring on stage at my church. They work well, but I wish they made these in a 10' model. The pro for this product is one less adapter. to go in to 1/2".

If you absolutely need extra length this is acceptable but it does degrade the audio quality and thus the total experience of my Sennheiser headphones and most like will your also.
