Used this on my Kenwood TS_530S on the pots and band switches. The radio didn't work at all b4 I used this. Now this 35 year old radio works like new again.

My digital clock based on 8) 6 or more pole and 11 or 12 throw switching circuits required several passes of this contact cleaner applied over 2 days to restore it to its original functionality. I was about ready to declare this project dead when it occurred to me to try this spray as a last resort. It was built prior to digital wristwatches out of surplus parts no longer generally available. This product comes highly recommended where contacts can develop highly oxidized parts that need to connect to each other.

I ave a CNC machine that was down, tried almost everything, didn't work. The drive servo board was faulting. The tech guy at factory said board was bad and will need new one. Tried about 20 times to reinstall board with no help. Then I read some reviews about this product so I tried. It worked first time!!!! The new board was $5000.00 for a new one.

Spray this on my R/C plane receiver PCB unit as the rudder servo was getting intermitent as causing control issue leading to crashing my plane. Amaze that the issue was gone after a half hour later!!! Save lots of $$ from having to replace the unit.

Have a old Marshall guitar amp.Couple of the knobs crackled a little bit and one knob would not work at all anymore.Put a couple of small shots of DeoxIt and it worked right away.

When I adjusted the volume or crossover knob on the amplifier it would make a crackling sound and not work all the time. I took the knob off and squirted the dial a couple of times and turned the knob then repeated. Everything works great again. We'll see how long it lasts but so far it's working.

So I see on comments that it isn't cost effective / expensive - actually if you purchase these as separate units you will pay >$22 (depending on the supplier) but for [$] in the combo pack. Do agree after trying it out you will want to purchase the large spray cans but to just try it out these are really good buy.

Used this kit to restore Volume pot on an old Modulaire 1000 boombox. Volume control had nothing but static and output to right channel was gone. I had to tear into the unit to get a good shot with the cleaner but glad I did. Unit now works perfectly, and with input from my iPod it sounds better than new.

Five stars for the product itself, one star for the twin pack. Each can has only 1/2 ounce of spray (not mentioned in the product description), which was not even enough for me to clean the contacts on two vintage audio receivers, when used sparingly. The product itself is great, and you will find many uses for it, so go ahead and get a 5 ounce can of each product (10 times the volume) for not much more money.

Fixed voltage loss to solenoid through gold plated edge connector on industrial circuit board. Restored solenoid operation. Problem has not returned in over two years.
