Great: Price, looks, can be folded axially

Not Great: Stripping is impossible without conductor damage which diminishes wires capacity for current.

This flat-14 cable actually tests out very close to 12 gauge as far as resistance per 100 ft. and the extra separation between wires compared to "zip" wire should result in lower capacitive coupling. I've used this for years and am very happy

I mainly wanted these for my front speakers and ended up using them on the Center channel as well. I wished they came in 30' lengths because thats all I need. I like the Braided design that the wire uses. my only gripe is that The wires aren't clearly marked for polarity.

The Monster XP cable I was using started to turn green at both ends. I believe it was 16 AWG cable but it had a non-conducting center. This cable has been in use for maybe 1/3 of the time but shows signs of aging or turning green, I'm getting more because I just moved. The flat 14 AWG works great!

Given the price this stuff is hard to beat. I've used it on several home theater systems with excellent results.Better cables can be found, but at significantly more money. In my opinion this beats the Monster speaker cable [...]
