Comments about RadioShack Dual Mini Board with 213 Holes:

Good enough board. Main gripe is that the adhesive holding the copper pads is fair at best - if you have to desolder a part landed, or get the pad too hot it will lift.

The copper does not stick to the board at all. Great idea if it worked.

Comments about RadioShack Dual Mini Board with 213 Holes:

Buyer beware, the two boards these snap into are not the same. One is a 15x15 board, while the other is 15x16.

That means that while one can hold two 16 pin ICs, the other can not!

Comments about RadioShack Dual Mini Board with 213 Holes:

Used to make a few custom circuits for hobby application. Makes my custom circuits look real clean.

Hole spacing is very convenient for typical through hole devices when tight configurations (diodes, IC, resistor, ...)

Pretty durable. Has held up to lots of soldering and desoldering. Great for the price.

Only negative is that both halves of the board are not identical. Not really a problem though.

Comments about RadioShack Dual Mini Board with 213 Holes:

Used to hold 3 dip-14 ICs, 6 resistors, 9 ceramic caps on one half of the board and 6 momentary tactile switches on the other half.

After finishing soldering everything in place, I wouldn't recommend putting more than 2 dip-14 ICs on half of this board. It can be done, but you'll have to carefully plan when to solder each connection.

When snapped in half, the larger holes on the four corners don't line up (I was planning on using standoffs to secure both boards together.)
I counted 15 x 15 holes (minus a few around the edges) on one half and 15 x 17 holes on the other half

The board seems to have held up really well to the torture I put it through when soldering all the components onto the board. Soldering, desoldering, re-soldering, reheating the solder joints many times, this board took it like a champ. My iron was set to ~570 F.

Comments about RadioShack Dual Mini Board with 213 Holes:

I was hoping to find a board & box that were compatible since the project boxes RS sells have built in standoffs for mounting the boards. I bought 2 different size boards (276-0150 & 276-0148) and the 2 closest size boxes they had (270-1803 & 270-1801) and neither of the boards match up to the standoffs in either box, making my project that much more difficult.

Worked great for when I built a DIY parallel AVR programmer. The pads were strong enough to mount a D-25 connector to without any issues. I was very happy with it. In fact, I used the other half to build another project of mine.
