Comments about RadioShack 1/4" Fully Insulated Quick Disconnects (10-Pack):

These are very difficult to crimp correctly using the crimp tool Radio Shack has been selling for tha past 20 years. To crimp them correctly (in the red, outermost, insulated terminal jaw)requires precise placement and extraordinary grip strength. Its not the terminals, its the tool. Other tools (e.g. Klein 1002) work better. Using the Radio Shack tool's non-insulated contact slot for the next size larger will make an excellent crimp, but often damages the insulator. (Wrap with electrical tape.) Ironically, radio shack tool is the best non-insulated contact crimper. If they read this I hope they'll modify the outer jaw to match the Klein (and others)

Comments about RadioShack 1/4" Fully Insulated Quick Disconnects (10-Pack):

These are fair at best. They don't crimp solidly. They work if you absolutely MUST have a disconnect, but I still would rather splice and solder my connections

I use these on my speaker wires, instead of using twisting the wires together I just quick connect them. It also gives me better sound quality.
