RCA jacks would have worked too, but this simplifies things by having only one cable for play and record. Much more expensive anywhere else. Thanx RS! Also, most european and ALL Bang & Olufsen brand equipment use DIN connectors exclusively. This cable works for that too and is MUCH cheaper than buying one elsewhere. You can cut this one to add RCAs if you want. google for the pinout.
