This is a perfect replacement for a standard 7219 bulb. I just installed two of them in an ICOM IC-2350H (p/n HRS-7219A) and they are working great!

I went to the dealership for some replacement bulbs that blew out on my 2002 Honda Accord and the prices were ridiculous. Seriously, we were talking about $6-7 per bulb and I needed quite a few. Instead, I decided to order them at a online retailer which was cheaper, it was still expensive nonetheless, but having it shipped to my door and I could order everything I needed easily. Anyways, while installing the bulbs, 2 more blew out and I couldn't believe it. I did an online and found these, so I went and got some. Reused the base and install these in place of the old bulbs and they work perfectly.

Used these to replace burned out light bulbs in the A/C and Dash lighting. They are smaller than the original and the green covers fit loosely (so i just took them off), but they work perfectly.

Perfect for automotive switch and indicator illumination. Dealer wanted 5x the cost per bulb and I had 8 to replace. Saved some serious money and didn't have to wait for special order bulbs from the dealer.

Great geeneral purpose replacement for 12v automotive dash & switch background lights. (note, if you've got a very recent make auto, check first, you may have LED lighting else if you don't have LED's, it's probably these!!!)

Light bulbs burned out in 06 Tahoe steering wheel controls, these fit perfect take switches out solder in place work great thanks radio shack!

I used it to replace the 4 burnt bulbs of my OEM car stereo suzuki grand vitara 1999 car. I cant find a replacement OEM car stereo which has a cd changer control.
It works great but its just a little bit longer than the bulbs I replaced, making it hard to put back the green rubber bulb cover coz it touches the housing and will affect the switches functions.
I was able to find a solution by not using the green colored rubber bulb cover but instead painting the bulb with the touch up green color you can buy in stores to fix scrathes or chips in car body paint that I had.
Now, I feel my car stereo is new again with all the lights back on the display.
Thanks Radio Shack!!! Its great to have you around for little fixes that may have cost me hundreds of dollars if I brought it to the professionals.
With regards to long life, it still remain to be seen if it will last long before I replace it again. Reduce energy use does not apply... if it is cool is a big YES!!!

Got these to replace burned out VSA, moonroof, and hazard switch bulbs on my 2004 Acura TSX and at a buck a bulb they are way cheaper than the part dept at the stealer.
