Does exactly what it is suppose to turns a 1/8 mini (phone plug) into a male RCA/Phono. Please disregard the previous users inability to read the description correctly. The description is spot on have purchased over 50 of these for installing MOH on phone systems.

This was not the adapter I wanted. The description was not fully correct. What the description said was "Stereo to Mono Inline Adapter". Also, the title said it was Phone to Phono. The adapter actually was a Male Composite RCA to Female *Mono* 1/8" connector. It had the "M" next to the connector for Mono. So the description should have been "Phono to Mono Inline Adapter". And now that I look back at the description, it said at the bottom that it accepts a stereo 1/8" plug, which of course I never read over.
Other than that, great little adapter. One way I could use it is to plug my Mono 1/8" Microphone into a TV, or into the L\R Composite Jacks on a soundboard, after splitting one of the plugs into 2 with a splitter of course.
