      Comments about RadioShack Cassette Recorder:

This was supposed to be used for dictating letters and memos. Sometimes it runs and sometimes it doesn't. Going to try and find something other than RadioShack which, I noticed, didn't have great reviews but finding full size tape recorders is difficult.

      Comments about RadioShack Cassette Recorder:

From day one, the sound fades when recording. Almost like the motor is weak. Multiple new batteries used and same problem. I have used the same brand of recorder for about 30 years and if I get 6 months out of one I am happy. I dictate and record conversations for insurance interviews. Use the recorders about 2 hours a day. I just don't like it when I take one out of the package and it doesn't work right.

        Comments about RadioShack Cassette Recorder:

Have used this product for phone and field interviews for an estimated 15 years. First recorder lasted eight years, and have had second for the last seven years. You get what you pay for, and for the modest price paid, this has been one of the best pieces of work equipment I have ever owned. As a private investigator, I have done hundreds of interviews with this recorder.

            Comments about RadioShack Cassette Recorder:

This is far inferior to a similar recorder that radio shack used to make. What were they thinking? What planet of the apes did they find to build it? The thing won't record and is lightweight. I'm about to return a second one of these to the dealer...the first one I had for only a few months and this one broke down after only one use.

              Comments about RadioShack Cassette Recorder:

I love these older style recorders because they are reliable and you can take the tape out and transfer it to another player. I have a digital recorder but it has its limitations in being able to move the recordings from place to place.

                    Comments about RadioShack Cassette Recorder:

About a week ago, I got my newest tape recorder, and I have two problems. First, the audio blares, as when I record, I have it strapped to a speaker. But worst off all, it seems to be good for only single-sided recording. When I record one one side, the quality is excellent (other than the blaring), though it doesn't always pick up all the musical sounds, but when I record on the other side, the quality on that side is as stated above, while the quality of what was recoreded on the other side is, more or less, trashed, which is something I have never had happen with any other tape recorders that I have ever had (and I've had a lot of them), including at least two other CTR-121s.

                    Comments about RadioShack Cassette Recorder:

I use this product mainly to tape my choir rehearsals and play it back to practice in my car. I have had two of these recorders. They both have the same problem. The play back speed is uneven and sounds terrible.
