Like the other reviewer, I too had a hard time reading the small print for the lengths. I used the metric lengths and was able to install it. The first time I installed it the center conductor was shorted to the shield, because the conductor had wound itself around and broken off. I had to extract the pin with hemostats and then ream the hole with a throwing dart. (That's a DIY project for you)The second time I trimmed about 1/8-3/16 off the center conductor and didn't tighten it as much. An ohmmeter measured zero resistance across center to center and shield to shield, with no shorts between them. I'd buy again, but I'd definitely trim the center pin down because I like to tighten the connector until it absolutely won't move.

I bought this to put a wire together for an airplane radio/antenna. There is no issue with it except that you cannot read the dimensions on the package leaving it up to guess/common sense. I was able to find a clearer image on the internet and was able to verify the dimensions are 1/4" of braid and 9/16" of center conductor. The rest of the instructions were pretty clear.
