Was doing a Saturday install and my normal low voltage distributor was closed. Made the mistake of buying phono plugs at Radio Shack. Unscrew them to solder. They solder very well. Occasionally, one will fail through the (+) center pin (because of poor manufacturing)and you will no longer have signal. I wish R.S. would make the (-) outer ring a split type so you could use pliars to tweak it down a bit for better connection. Good overall!
