If you are in need of a sturdy, inexpensive microphone stand, Radio Shack's 33-340 model will do the job. Its heavy base helps to assure that your microphones will stay where you put them. Rubber feet also keep noise pickup from the stand to a minimum. It's very simple to put together and use. This is good, as there are no assembly instructions included in the box.

My only complaint about this product would be the lack of an included microphone holder. This part is sold separately by RadioShack. While this is not a serious setback, it is just a little more money that you have to spend for a piece that ought to be in the box. It's also worth noting that the in-store clerks were not aware that a microphone holder was not included with this stand--and only at the last minute did I finally manage to convince them of this.

There were several broken plastic pieces in the package when it arrived. These must have been from inside, the unit didn't have any externally visible defects but this is certainly a design flaw.

This mic stand is GREAT!!! I had some trouble, because the mic holder is not included. But it still ROCKS!!!
