Comments about RadioShack Audio Output Transformer: I used it on my telephone to create "Music on Hold". Very easy to do. Music goes on the 8 ohm audio winding and the other side is switched to the telephone line together with a load.

Comments about RadioShack Audio Output Transformer: I first bought one of these transformers in 1989. They work great in the bionic ears circuit I made. I'm looking into building another circuit in 2009 again and I was very surprised to see that this transformer is still available. Thanks for making a great product.

Comments about RadioShack Audio Output Transformer: Here is another use for it. I connected the primary (the one NOT center tapped; I'm new to this) to an audio source. I connected the secondary (center tapped side, used the outer wires) to an led. Using this setup, you can make an led flash with the music. I'm sure someone can find a use for this! Pros

Comments about RadioShack Audio Output Transformer: using this product ina home made radio repeater interface with a COR Controller board. Needed impedance match speaker input to Mic H-z Of the controler board. Minimizes low audio levels. Use a .01 by pass cap to ground for audio path return. Because of low 300 hertz cut off the passage of PLL tone are not possible and must be manually injected after cor board.[@].com download Suitcase repeater ( it's free)
