Some other reviewers experienced problems with buzzing and poor picture, but I have none of that. I use my modulator to take the output of my DVD player in the family room and send it as channel 4 throughout the house to all the other TVs. One of those TVs is a 47" which would make any problems really noticible. I have to say that the picture is great, for what is really an analog TV picture. There is a slight ghost but that could be due to my 25-year-old wiring. The sound is perfect. Just don't expect digital TV quality because you're really creating an analog TV channel with this modulator.

I had this in the box, hardly ever needed it, and when I hooked it up, and plugged it in, the red light went on then off.
it doesn't stay on. How do I fix this?

Although the appearance has changed, I bought this same RF Modulator over 10 years ago from RadioShack to play my DVD player with the TV I bought at the time. At the time of this review, this same modulator I bought 10 years ago is just NOW starting to malfunction. I know it's time to buy a new one and I will be purchasing this product again. The longevity and peace of mind is well worth the price. I can't say anything negative about it because it has NEVER put me down until now.

I used this converter box to convert the RCA outputs of a satellite receiver to a coax cable to push the signal to the other TV's on the same floor of the house. Was using an old VCR to do this but it died.

I needed something to convert compostite video into something else, because my my Samsung Syncmaster T260HD monitor/TV doesent have any input for the composite video (it was designed as a computer monitor, with a Tv tuner as like a bonus). So I went to Radioshack looking for something of the like. The main reason I needed it was because I had no way of using my Wii on the TV without it (I use HDMI for the xbox and PS3). The price is a liitle high compared to other stores. But it does work and has decent quality, but not great. (the Wii menu's white background seems really bright as if it were bleeding). All in all its a good product for what i needed it for.
