I wish RadioShack would make a version of this cable in the 1/4 plug to 1/4 jack configuration. Based on the quality of this product, a 1/4 version would be a great buy for different applications.

Stereo Headphone Cable, 1/8" Jack to 1/8" Plug: I have not hooked up the speakers that came with my computer and found that I could hear everything by plugging in a headset. However, the cord on my headset was too short and I had to lean over to the left to compensate for that. A friend told me that there was such a thing as an extender that I could buy at Radio Shack. I ordered it, and it's absolutely wonderful that I don't have to be uncomfortable and lean over anymore.

Comments about RadioShack 6-Ft. Stereo Headphone Cable, 1/8" Jack to 1/8" Plug: I bought this cable for the gold connectors as I truly believe that this makes a difference. I am very pleased with the sound quality. I am using it as an extension to studio monitor headphones for audio mixing. While it is hard to see from the photo, this cable is quite rugged. The ends are extremely solid and the cable is very thick. Once I picked this cable up, I returned a Jensen cable of similar description the very same day. It was flimsy by comparison. Bottom line... this was wise purchase.
