Comments about RadioShack 25-Position Male Crimp D-Sub Connector: We use these connectors on a regular basis. They are much easier than the soldered pin type and give much better results. You should have the crimping pliers(also available at the Shack) to do the job correctly. I have no problem telling when the pins are seated and locked, but I've been doing this for 40+ years. There are, of course, more expensive and perhaps better constructed DB25's on the market, but these have been doing the job for us very nicely.

Best Uses Comments about RadioShack 25-Position Male Crimp D-Sub Connector: It comes in a small plastic bag with *no instructions* what-so-ever. Difficult to understand what exactly the pieces are all for. The pins also don't make a click or have a notch to tell how far to push them into the port. You can easily just eyeball it, but adding something like this would be nice. But, after finally getting it together, it holds up really well, fits excellently and is very durable!
