Comments about RadioShack 5mm White LED:

Radioshack sells a 7000mcd LED 2 pack for half the price of this 1100mcd LED 1 pack. If your looking for an LED, go for that pack. If you want even better value, the 20-pack has 2 of these in it for about three bucks. I have yet to find a site on the internet that sells LEDs cheaper than the 20 pack.

Comments about RadioShack 5mm White LED:

Its an LED. what more can i say about it. it dose what i need it to do which is brighten up a darker area in a piece of equipment i use. to those whineing about the price. if you need the LED in bulk then order it from a bulk site. and wait for them to fill the order. otherwise for people like me who only needed 1 maybe 2, get it at your local radioshack, instantly! otherwise good luck finding parts like these at any other dealer in most towns. thanks radioshack.

Although this item is expensive for a 2 pc bag, it does have a 100 degree viewing angle at 1100 mcd. This configuration of brightness and viewing angle is hard to find by other manufacturers. Yes, you can find a lot brighter LED's 7,000, 16,000 mcd's, but restricted to a 30 degree view angle.
