Comments about RadioShack 12VDC Micro Fan: This went into my Windows HOme Server EX470 from HP. I knowingly voided the warranty and used it to replace the failed stock fan that came with the unit. It lasted for about 3 years of continuous running.

Comments about RadioShack 12VDC Micro Fan: Of all the reviews on this fan, there was only 1 that said it was a loud fan...wow...they were not kidding! I installed this in a NAS hard-drive enclosure to replace one that was not power-full enough to cool 2 x 300GB hard drives and I am tempted to put the old one back. Definitely going to replace ASAP!!

Convenience was the most compelling factor and specifications much better than what the manufacturer supplied originally. This was a replacement for a fan in a hard drive enclosure and it definitely works much better.
