This was the perfect length to enable me to put a cordless phone in another room without having to spend the [$] the phone company was going to charge to add a jack in that room.

From reading the existing specs on this cable, I wouldn't have known what to make of it. Thought I would expand on the specs a bit.This is 6 conductor cable / connectors wired 1:1. connectors are the RJ-25 type which is compatible with RJ-11 and RJ-14 (just caries more circuits).[...] Most of the following would be of little interest to the average user. I was using the cable to make a special computer interconnect where the cable was cut in half and different connectors were applied to the cut ends. Worked out very well and was convenient to get.Color codes of the wire are Wht, Blk, Red, Grn, Yel, Blu. Wire is somewhat stiff and appears to be #26 AWG (7/36). Gray jacket is easily slit with a razor blade in order to expose wires. Wires are easily separated from jacket. Wires are discrete (as opposed to Bonded).
