Best Uses Comments about RadioShack Precision Electronics Cleaner: Product is getting over priced. After feeling sad and having a lighter wallet after leaving, I decided to look for an alterantive. Found one. I bought CRC QD Electronic Cleaner at a automovive store that is half the price and you get 11oz. After finding this, I took back the radio shack cleaner and now life is good once more.

Comments about RadioShack Precision Electronics Cleaner: First time I bought it worked great cleaning the Mass Air Flow Sensor to my minivan, was having trouble with the lack of power in the engine, but after I sprayed the sensor, I felt the engine with more power and the driving was just fine, please just be cautious and research about cleaning the MAF sensor yourselves, it is delicate, anyhow I am happy I did it myself, for what I paid for.

Comments about RadioShack Precision Electronics Cleaner: Had a vase of water spill on my brand new macbook while it was on. Needless to say it was toast and the manufacturer wanted as much as a new laptop to fix it. My brother lent this cleaner to me saying he heard it could clean circuit boards. I had nothing to lose so I gave it a try. I dismantled the laptop and cleaned every electronic component I could see. Reassembled and laptop works perfectly again!!! Mind you, I have no experience with computers or electronics so use at your own risk if, like me, you've got nothing to lose. Also, it specifically says not for use on laptops.

Cons Best Uses Comments about RadioShack Precision Electronics Cleaner: Tried everything including wd-40 many a time to clean my grand cherokee dashboard light dimmer. To no avail. First squirt of this product....put slide through 50 cycles.....perfect results. No hitches. It's a week later, and still dimming perfectly
Comments about RadioShack Precision Electronics Cleaner: I used some of this about 6 months ago and it seemed to work OK. I just used the rest of the can on a transmitter and it left a greenish oily residue that never dried. I even tried to dry it with an air compressor with no luck. I am going to have to do the job all over again with some new stuff and hope it cleans the mess up. Pros

Comments about RadioShack Precision Electronics Cleaner: I'm a noob when it comes to soldering, and I managed to gunk up a critical component and solder pad to the point where they were so dirty/oxidized that they wouldn't hold solder any more. Pros

Comments about RadioShack Precision Electronics Cleaner: I used it to clean my minidisc recorder and my communications equipment, it badly damaged my minidisc recorder and I had to buy a new recorder. I don't like this cleaner that much, I am staying away from it. I tried to clean my Pro 2035 scanner with it, it damaged the display and the cleaner got moisture into the LCD display and it leaves residue inside the radio. The cleaner is ok for cleaning plastics, but is bad for cleaning contacts and cleaning dust out. :( Pros Cons
