Comments about RadioShack Rare Earth Super Magnets (2-Pack):

These are barely 3/16" in diameter, but less than 1/16 deep. So barely enough power to attach to anything. I regret the purchase.

Comments about RadioShack Rare Earth Super Magnets (2-Pack):

Magnets hard to pick off metal surface, slide off.

Do not put in pocket with credit cards, will wipe them out.

I have used epoxy to hold magnet (larger ones than these) to hold plastic flashlight on metal, a third hand that way.

Comments about RadioShack Rare Earth Super Magnets (2-Pack):

Had an allen wrench snap off inside the head of the limb bolt on my compound bow. Bought these hoping they'd be strong enough to pull it out. They are with the help of a circuit trace cutting knife moving it back and forth it was able to pull it out. They are very small but also really strong. Cheap fix for a big problem.

These magnets are great. But I was wondering if anyone has had any problems using them around electronics (computers, iphone, etc)? Review to reply. Thanks!

Comments about RadioShack Rare Earth Super Magnets (2-Pack):

I use them for pain from plantar fasciitis. I had it for three years and nothing helped. I use blue painters tape and place each magnet wherever the pain is. They are small enough to wear without feeling them in my tennis shoes. I read it online, and I got a CHEAP cure for my pain! No more shots, ice, heat, braces, or pain relievers.

The size of the magnets are .1965 diameter x .0590 inches each.
I had a bathroom ceiling exhaust fan whose plastic grill left a gap between itself and the ceiling at the corners. I glued a metal washer in each corner, countersunk a drywall screw into the ceiling just above each washer then put a magnet between each one. The magnets pull the grill close to the ceiling and the gap is gone.

These are suitable for levitating over a superconductor. The magnets we have for demonstrating this effect tend to go missing or get broken easily. I am here to tell you if you need magnets for demonstrating the Meisner effect these are ideal, and available at your nearest Radio Shack. The size--3/16"--is now specified, as I am writing this. Cubic ones are ever so slightly preferable, so I'm giving it 4 stars.
