Comments about RadioShack D-Sub Pin Insertion and Extraction Tool:

This tool works well for what it is intended for: D-Sub connectors, such as a serial port or VGA port. It is not designed to be used on Molex connectors...

I regularly use DB-9 to RJ-45 modular adapters, and this tool works great for removing the pins for different configurations, etc.

Comments about RadioShack D-Sub Pin Insertion and Extraction Tool:

Bought to do a power supply modification for a computer power supply and these are so flimsy could not even get one pin to release from the molex connector waste of money and time.

I found the RED tool better for removing

          • Avionics

Comments about RadioShack D-Sub Pin Insertion and Extraction Tool:

I found the white tool fragile, and it quickly broke when I attempted to remove wired-pins. The RED tool removed them easily, and it was easy to insert them into the new connector by hand. Good value at [$] . Save me a lot of time re-wiring, crimping, etc etc.
