Very good choice in a speaker wire. Conductors are heavy enough to do the job well. Insulation holds up well. I used some in my house 20 years ago, and it shows no signs of insulation cracking or breakdown. For the price, I think this is an excellent choice.

Good wire. Definitely heavy enough for most residential applications. Polarity indication always helps! This is well-made classic speaker wire that doesn't cost a fortune. I didn't measure the actual against the stated length, but after nearly 50 years of home projects I've learned to buy a little extra if the numbers are close.

I was installing this in a room where I estimated I needed 47'. On the last run across the room for the rear surrounds, I was short by 4 feet. I had run two lengths through Cordmate cord conduits and peeled the backing and stuck them to the wall. Then to my surprise when running the last Cordmate, I did not have enough speaker wire left. Irritated, I removed the previously glued to the wall conduit and removed all the speaker wire. I got out my tape measure and running it along I measured 43 feet. This was an unopened spool of wire from my local Radio Shack. Now I have to buy another roll - from someone who can measure properly!
