Comments about RadioShack 1000µF 35V 20% Radial-lead Electrolytic Capacitor: Today my Samsung 46in LCD would not turn on only was clicking and a red light.Thought about TV repair man but first checked my Web site for an answer. It directed me to a possible bad capacitor. I opened the back of my 46in Samsung LCD and located the bad capacitors. So I checked with my local RadioShack and they had the capacitor I needed. A little bulky than the original but I was able to install it. Wow!! it works an inexpensive repair. Thanks RadioShack.

Comments about RadioShack 1000µF 35V 20% Radial-lead Electrolytic Capacitor: As I have read in over 100 consumer reports and on this page. Samsung never owned up to their capacitors being unable to handle the power. It took 5 minutes to get the motherboard off of the TV and another 10 minutes to take off and then put on the new ones. The bad ones were easy to spot and even though these capacitors were a little bulkier they still fit and worked. Another 5 minutes to put the TV back together and my 2 yr old son could watch his Mickey Mouse Clubhouse once again.
Comments about RadioShack 1000µF 35V 20% Radial-lead Electrolytic Capacitor: Fixed my Samsung 46inch lcd tv. Woke up and turned tv on and it would start and then shut off consistenly. Took the tv apart and found 3 capacitors that were blistered on top. Went to my local radio shack and bought 3 of these and fixed it within a couple of hours and saved me $100's. So far everything works great for less then 6 bucks. Pros

Best Uses Comments about RadioShack 1000µF 35V 20% Radial-lead Electrolytic Capacitor: If you go to [@] you can get a much better deal on these capacitors(25 cents to 75 cents each). These are cheap quality, you want some 105 degree, LOW ESR capacitors. You can get them all over. Panasonic fm and samxons are pretty good.If you want to learn more about bad caps killing tvs and moniors etc check out [@]t-cadillacman

Comments about RadioShack 1000µF 35V 20% Radial-lead Electrolytic Capacitor: My HP w1907 monitor was out of warranty, and occasionally went black after rebooting, but no big deal. Then, last week, it just went black randomly after being on for a few minutes. I thought it was a bad CFL back-light bulb, dissembled the entire monitor and checked those... and they tested fine. When looking at the power board for another answer, I spotted a bulged cap, bingo! replaced factory 25v with this 35v cap and was back up and running within a few hours, including the 50mi round trip to the nearest Shack (bought a couple extra to have on-hand, too).So far, this monitor is performing like new again, and doesn't lose signal (go black) when rebooting PC or when left running 24x7.I was a bit concerned about the lower temp of the Shack cap (85C), because the original cap was rated at 105C, but so far, working fine. If it blows again, I know I can fix it for <$2 with RS parts, rather than ordering online and paying $10 for the "same" part with shipping from [...] or another parts supplier!
Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about RadioShack 1000µF 35V 20% Radial-lead Electrolytic Capacitor: TV would not power on, relay switch clicked constantly with power cord attached. Problems and fixes with the Samsung found on the web. I replaced the 2 defective 1000uF-10V with these in my Samsung LN46A550P3F LCD-HDTV. Took a couple of hours, but I repaired my Samsung TV for [$]. Much better than a $250-400 repair bill.

Comments about RadioShack 1000µF 35V 20% Radial-lead Electrolytic Capacitor: I used the capacitors to repair a Samsung LCD/HD TV. Pulled the cheap blown capacitors off the motherboard and replaced with Radio Shack's high quality ones.

Cons Best Uses Comments about RadioShack 1000µF 35V 20% Radial-lead Electrolytic Capacitor: Had a fried backlight on a 3 yr. old HP VS17e monitor, and saw from others' online comments it was probably due to a bulged capacitor. So my incredible boyfriend helped me replace the bad capacitor with this new RS cap, and I got my monitor fixed just perfectly for under [$], plus I enjoyed some quality techie time with my boyfriend !
