Cons Best Uses Comments about RadioShack Size N Panel-Mount Coaxial DC Power Jack: It seems nearly every Toshiba laptop has a broken power jack, but this replacement worked great and is far sturdier than the flimsy plastic one that came installed from the factory. It was a close fit and I had to do a bit of cutting and filing on the inside of the case but now that it's back together it looks and works better than new.

Best Uses Comments about RadioShack Size N Panel-Mount Coaxial DC Power Jack: Installed into a A505 and works great. Performance seems to be on par, if not better. Will definetly recommend to my friends.
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about RadioShack Size N Panel-Mount Coaxial DC Power Jack: I was able to desolder the power jack on the motherboard of my Toshiba Laptop, connect two power wires directly to the motherboard and this jack. Perfect! A little Dremel work on the hole and some Loctite Blue for the threads. Excellent connector! 10x more sturdy than the original. Pros

Comments about RadioShack Size N Panel-Mount Coaxial DC Power Jack: chrome plated, great looking and built extremely well. Requires a 7/16" hole. The only issue is to make sure the plating is filed or scrapped off before trying to soldier the connections.
