With the spring and contacts inside the holder, there is only room for half the fuse. Whoever designed this product truly did not care about the consumer as it was a hassle to try to fix this new piece equipment. I would not recommend purchasing this at all. The fuse holder is for a VERY short fuse that is hard to find. I ended up cutting it out, and soldering in an ATM blade type fuse holder which works better for me anyway. For such a simple item, it seems like it cost too much. Just my opinion though.
