Pros
Cons Best Uses
Comments about RadioShack Extra Tips for Soldering Guns for Weller D550: it is a great tip. just melt some solder on the tip before each use to prevent oxidization. Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about RadioShack Extra Tips for Soldering Guns for Weller D550: These tips oxidize very quickly when in use. After using for approximately 2 minutes, the tips are heavily oxidized. The oxidation on the contacts prevents further use until removed. I had to remove the tips from the gun and file the oxidation off of the contact end before I could use them again.
