Didn't really think about it when I bought it (wouldn't have mattered anyhow), but 0.5 oz is pretty small. The container barely measures 1.25" in diameter, and is kind of hard to open. I don't know why I assumed it would be a paste, but it's not. It's kind of a compressed powder. Little granules of it spill out every time you open it. So be warned! I gave myself a surprise dusting the first time I wrestled the lid off. Not fun. Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Images shared by RobinTheBrave After a couple dips... I did have a hard time finding this product in local RS-stores a few years back. It seems that this product was held up in distribution channels so that it could be repackaged with a warning from the state of California.
