I needed some diodes for logic encoding with the Basic Stamp 2 and I picked up these at RS and I was surprised how cheap they are. They work and I don't know of any problems with them so far, so if you need lots of low power diodes, get this.

I used these as clipping diodes in a guitar distortion/fuzz pedal. They are just like the ones used in vintage Electro-Harmonix pedals and sound great.

I use these for my pinball machine switch matrix they work fine.

To the person complaining about high price... they are 5 cents each... come on. Yeah you can do better if you buy at some online store but this is quick and convienent to pick them at a brick and mortor store and radio shack is the only local store i can find that caries them.

Used this product to prevent back feeding on a keyboard matrix. (using an old keyboard controller circuit as button input) They work as advertised. The switching speed is more than adequate in most circumstances, I probably could have gotten away with rectifier diodes rated @60 Hz.

A nice pack of 50 1n4148s which I use a lot in personal and buisness projects. Price isn't too bad for buying retail.
