Seems theres a flaw with momentary switches, if you torque it just a hair more then normal the entire housing cracks then your [$] down the tubes.I'd buy it if were entirely made out of some metal

My switch has a very loose fit between plastic threads on switch body and the threads on the backing nut. I could slide the nut on and off without turning it. I ended up gluing the switch in the panel to hold it securely.

I advise opening the package in the store and verifying that threads are good before leaving the store.

These are great little switches, however, they look so much like the on off switches they tend to get mixed up with their counterpart.

This is a great SPST button, i purchesed it to use as a killswitch in my Ibanez guitar. It worked perfect!! Def recommended!!

I read all the comment about how this was an amazing killswitch so I bought it for that purpose. I put it on my guitar and was not impressed. It was backwards. When the button was not pushed in, the signal was cut. When it was pushed in, the signal went through. It also didn't even cut the signal the whole way so you could hear it when it was supposed to be cut.

this is the best killswitch you can get,i put this in my les paul and it works great,its the same one that buckethead uses in his guitar.A++++++++

I bought this along with the other red square momentary switch. This one, while smaller than the other, is still really big. It is way too deep. Works well, though. I do use these, but am still on the lookout for momentary switches that are less deep.

Since a killswitch works by shorting the + and - output wires together to interrupt the signal, an N.O. switch is exactly what you want and this is the best and easiest to get one there is.

Wire it in parallel with the output jack and and download some buckethead tabs.
