Every one of the four switches was 'leaky'. Meaning that they would complete the circuit without being pushed. Total waste of money.

Worst thing about this product is the technical specs on Radio Shacks web site. The most important information needed for these Momentary Switch is on the back of the bag. BE SURE TO CHECK THE BACK OF THE PACKAGE TO VERIFY FOR YOUR APPLYCATION.

Comments about RadioShack Mini SPST 0.5-Amp Momentary Switch (4-Pack):

The plastic stem is white on both color switches. The colored cap on the end is the same diameter from top to bottom. If you are trying to match an existing swithc that was the same part number they won't match. I had to change all swithes to make the switches all look uniform.

This is a N.O. SPST momentary contact. It requires a 17/64th" mounting hole.

Comments about RadioShack Mini SPST 0.5-Amp Momentary Switch (4-Pack):

First time around I bought a pack of these for PS3 controller mods and I accidentally got NC (normally closed) when the mod requires NO. If you're buying these to do a similar mod make sure you buy the correct switch before bashing the product. Radio shack happily did an even swap even though the other pack was opened.

Decent quality - watch out these are NO

Comments about RadioShack Mini SPST 0.5-Amp Momentary Switch (4-Pack):

Yeah i thought they were short too, at first, then when i read the label carefully, it said "N/O". What i needed was the N/C ones. No point blaming the product if you bought the wrong product for your job.
Although i'm going to swap them out for the NC ones, i can comment on the quality and useability of these- and it's pretty decent quality. This is not the best i've used, but it does the job. Good for small projects, jobs and stuff that won't kill you if it doesn't work.
I would not use for very critical applications.

Tip: (Normally Open has a complete circuit at rest position, cuts at operation, while N/C is opposite)

So watch out modder-enthusiast these are N/O, if you need NC, try this Catalog #: 275-1548.
