Comments about RadioShack DPDT 20-Amp Flip Switch:

I used this as a DPDT switch for an in-cab winch controller (winch in/out). The switch works but I wouldn't suggest it for a user that intends to use it much. The plastic threads don't allow a snug fit and the toggle takes too much pressure causing the threads to fail and the switch to loosen.

I bought two for running the relays on my plow, and both of them inconsistently work. I have to flip it several times before it will run.This is after about 9 months of sitting, and two snow falls.

I used this to implement a ballast system for a wakeboard boat.

I had 3 switches wired to 3 different reversible pumps. After storing for the winter, 1 switch was completely shot and one of them didn't want to work in the down position but worked in the up position. After fiddling with the one that half worked if I applied more than normal force it worked.

So out of 3 switches 1 was completely shot - just from sitting in the cold, not moving for a winter. Extremely poor quality if you ask me.

(I was however elated to find out that my pumps didn't freeze apart as I went through a lot of trouble to try to prevent it)
