Comments about RadioShack SPST Rocker Switch (Black):

Thanks to the other comments I tested this because on person said it was not a SPST - but it is and it does work. The AMP issues did not bother me; I'm turning on a 27 watt light bulb (110 volt AC system) so it was rated for more current than I need. It was in the store as the site said and I had the light repaired in less that 1/2 hour.

The online description indicates "Rated 10 amps at 125VAC or 250VAC."

The product box indicates "Rated 10A at 125VAC or 6A at 250VAC".

But the actual product (on the molded plastic) indicates
"16A 125VAC
10A 250VAC"

Talk about confusing!

Package states for 3/4" hole but req'd hole is a tad larger. Soft plastic easily damaged. Soft plastic self-gripping nut can work loose. Not recommended for safety critical applications.

This is not a momentary switch. the other review must have had a defective switch... looks real nice on my car console, rated for way more than i needed. clean look but the 3/4" hole is tricky. *shrug* good overall

This product is incorrectly labeled. It does not show that is a "momentary on" switch, that is, the switch does not stay in the "on" position, but clicks back to "off". Nowhere on the packaging or in the technical specs online does it tell this information. So I drilled a hole in my appliance for nothing, and have to hope that I can find the correct switch that will use to same size hole. Please relabel this product!
