Comments about RadioShack SPST Micromini Toggle Switch: I bought this as an on off switch for a small device and already had it soldered in place when I realized it won't stay in the "on" position. No where on the package or on line does it mention that it is a "temporary on" switch. I know the difference and never would have bought it had I known that. I'll be more careful next time.
Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about RadioShack SPST Micromini Toggle Switch: The threads on the plastic shaft will strip if you use pliers or a wrench. Tighten it with your fingernails only. Then, glue it down so it won't come undone. Better yet, buy one with a metal shaft!
Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about RadioShack SPST Micromini Toggle Switch: It's size is nice but the one I got broke the second or third time that I used it. Even though it is poorly constructed it is a good way to waste money.

Best Uses Comments about RadioShack SPST Micromini Toggle Switch: I needed a small switch to turn an alarm speaker ON & OFF, and this switch was just the right size. Unfortunately, the first sample did not work at all - it was "open" in both switch positions. The second sample worked correctly, but the mounting shaft is plastic rather than metal and, as a result, it is VERY easy to "strip" the threads when trying to tighten the switch onto the panel. I would suggest getting a different SPST switch even if it is slightly larger than this one.
