    Comments about RadioShack Momentary Switch:

Used this for a power switch on a mini-itx project case. Half inch threaded mounting depth and half inch diameter mounting hole made it perfect for my application. Overall length may be too long for some people's projects.

    Comments about RadioShack Momentary Switch:

Many people say that it's not reliable at all. I've installed it on my guitar as a killswitch and works great for me. I've had it installed for a few months now and use it all the time. It seems to hold up for me.

The bag has many details about the electrical properties however, it does not state if N.O. or N.C.

Also it would be nice if the tag had the mounting hole size.

dunno why its made of a cheap plastic, switches were once built out of a sturdy material, these if overtighten it cracks in half then your [$] screwed, if it were built out of steel, i'd buy it today. Theres always a hardware store 1/4 mile down the road

Built into project where it was asked to carry 100 mA at 12 volts. Died after being cycled 4 or 5 times. Shoddy, unreliable product. Not recommended.

The housing of this switch failed for me while I was installing it. I wasn't putting very much pressure on it, the switch effectively snapped in two in my hand.

                                  Comments about RadioShack Momentary Switch:

I tried to use this thing as a kill switch for a guitar. Honestly, it is built so cheaply, I would never tell anybody to buy one. As i was putting it on my pickguard, the whole switch literally cracked and broke in half. It was a waste of my time, and money. Radio Shack returned my money, but not my time. I cant explain how annoyed I am that they would even think to sell such garbage.

I use these push buttons to control the turnouts on my model railroad layout. I need only a momentary surge of power to make the turnouts work and these push buttons provide it. A very well designed product
