This switch IS foreign made, and is adequate. However I would never use it in an industrial applications unless desperate.

I installed it in my guitar (Squire Affinity Telecaster) along with a piezo pickup, allowing me to switch between the elctro-magnetic pickups and my piezo and use both with the adjustment knobs from the original guitar.

I searched the Internet for good quality toggle switches at a decent price. Don't be fooled by those extremely cheap foreign-made switches. My research says you're wasting your time. The Radio Shack toggle switches were the best I found at a decent price. Just purchased 2 dozen of them and they work great. Will purchase another 2 dozen shortly. Easy to install; easy to solder the terminals; positive switching motion; solid construction. No complaints. If they were only a bit cheaper, we'd have 5 stars ... but then again, we consumers are never satisfied. :-)
