I used this as a switch for the car horn on my lawnmower. Worked awsome. Now i use it for the remote wire for my car amp. Great buy, and looks gangster!

I am a volunteer Firefighter this is perfect for my blue light the cover stops me from bumping the toggle and turning on the light when i dont want it on. but when i do need it it is very easy to flip up the cover and turn on the light.

These switches are around 6 dollars a piece, which makes them a fairly low-cost purchase. The LED is a very nice touch, and really lights up the switch. The downside is very heavy, because these switches rate a 1 on the durability meter. The threads are plastic, which means the're very, very easy to strip and any thread lock is out of the question(it will eat right through them within an hour or two). Save yourself some heartache and purchase a 3M switch at Autozone or any similar automotive store. The 3M switches are only 3 dollars more, and the quality is above and beyond that of these switches. You won't get the fancy LED, but the trade-off in durability is more than worth it. If you're using these for any kind of automotive/marine use, please, please don't rely on these cheap switches. You get what you pay for!

This switch is an amazing tool for doing high-end projects such as ones using a lot of electricity, since there is a sweet looking (kind of bomb looking) switch with safety.

This switch is great. I'm using it like others have as a "doomsday" switch on my rocket launch controller. The tip of the switch has a red LED that lights when switch is closed. I just bought it but it looks and feels very rugged and should last a long time for what I'm using it for.

I read a review that this switch can be set up as a SPDT and that is the exact purpose I need it for. It's true! You can rig it up to act like a double throw switch. I set up two indicator lights, a red light shows the switch is open, then a green light to show switch is closed.

I have nothing bad to say about this switch, I only wish that it would come larger. I'm totally going for that ICBM doomsday feel and if the switch was like twice the size that would be great. They need to also make different colors too. Buy this switch!

I use this product in many different circuits.
1) Switch GND to Relay to MAIN Gnd
*) ON=OFF; OFF=ON
*) Red Light Lit When OFF (EZ to Find Light Switch in the Dark)

2) Cover Used w/ DPDT ON/OFF/ON Switch
*) Provides Expanded Function of DPDT Switch
*) Cover can be closed with switch in center OR down position
*)Good for E-Stop Switch (USE NC RELAY)

*)This is a great switch and cover. The switch can be standalone, and the cover works with most switches.

*) Downside, NOTHING AT ALL!!!

NOTE TO RADIOSHACK: Bet U Did not know it works as a SPDT Switch! (Light disabled)
